Chapter Seventy Nine: Extrasensory Perception

The Copy Editors are not bare on their own; obviously, they can put up a duel if they have to. Throughout the many years that the Story Board has maintained this elite force, there was not a single chance that they were not underrated by the arrogance of others.

But the Copy Editors are considered elite for a reason, and they are ready to prove it if they have to. Their powers are not to be taken lightly; their extrasensory perception are full of venom and force, ready to disable any evil that permeates within the body of their opponent. To understand its effects in gist, some people considers this weapon as a form of experiencing a deadly nightmare they wouldn't even wish to their worst enemies.

The extrasensory perception manifests itself as an invisibility coming from the minds of the Reader. Copy Editors spend a portion of their lives trying to understand the elements of this matter through the ardous demands of enormous reading. Reading, as a form of training, not only demands physical aptitude on the part of the Copy Editors, but more on the calmness and focus of the mind.

There is no certain form that the extrasensory perception takes once it leaves the thoughts of a Copy Editor, but it can definitely command control of the ghosts of the fallen or to manipulate the gravitational pull of nature. The ability to make things levitating, the conjuring of spells, order by will to produce an invisible force, and other forms of extreme exposition of this power have been noted, but there is no concrete evidence to prove to a reported certainty.

Anyway, be that as it may, Copy Editors have mastered the attached dangers of using their extrasensory perception to defend themselves, and to enforce the provisions of law that has been granted to the Story Board. For this reason, Copy Editors have been especially feared because of the way they handle the duelers who fight them in active combat. Nothing can stop them from devouring the very soul of their opponents, draining them of extreme joy and giving them unbearable torment; indeed, there is absolutely none.

But there is a catch. Copy Editors have their own weaknesses that could derail the effectiveness of this potent weaponry. The Veil of Matrimony, which is considered a solid manifestation of love, protects the person from being affected by the curse of this illustrous talent, if that person sincerely honors the marriage bond.

This has been considered necessary because there must be a way to protect people from the cruel abuse of the control of complete destruction. Lawlessness has no place in all civilized worlds who have longed for tranquility and lasting peace, as a matter crucial for the right to exist.
