Chapter Sixty Three: The Astrologer's Curse

While the press is busy with covering the developments of the trial of the century, and the Commission on Appointments is mourning the death of the Executive Secretary with enough coverage from the press as well, something from the heavenly bodies are spelling a message of doom. Yet, again, it was about Princess Snow White.

Of course the stars never lie, and its content of danger is alarming. A perilous ordeal is about to transpire within the midst of the present chaos, and it is unstoppable. The demise of the Executive Secretary is just the cue to the many misfortunes that is about to happen, and nobody can end the sting of a series of deaths.

The chart was clear, and the reading was very straightforward. Within the precepts of Astrology, the warning comes in a point where nothing much can be made out of the prophecy. It came too late, and the wheels of confidence has been put to a stop. The curse has suddenly begun.

The Astrological Curse is a punishment within itself, and to see the beginning of its inevitable effect is very chilling. What will happen will happen with so much force, and the astrologers' failure to read the chart (which triggered the curse) will result to a dramatic effect nobody expects to come.

They knew who could have killed the Executive Secretary, but they cannot say a word, not now that the curse is in effect. But what they can do is leave clues for the government to find, and this is what they have decided to do. They are now ready to help as much as they can.

The astrologers must follow the signs. Indeed, they must.

More killings. More political maneuverings. And more manipulations. Beyond what was seen, is an invisible arsenal ready to consume them all. The fault may be the Seminary's refusal to act on such a reading, but nothing plausible could have averted it with a viable option. What is happening is destined for it to happen.

"We must act quickly," the Principal of the Astrological Seminary said with conviction. "We have no other choice."
