Chapter Forty One: The Conference of Saints and All-Saints
/ Alsant (Als.) n. - the appropriate title of Saints who are not formally canonized
by the Holy See /
The Story Board of the Most Solemn and Dedicated Conference of Saints and All-Saints has graciously informed the Canon House, the body representing the All-Saints about the earlier events that unfolded in recent days, putting the Classics Authority in complete limbo as its security was completely compromised. Its literary protection has been significantly wounded by the attack, and the poisons of literature threaten the integrity of its libraries. An abrupt action is necessary, and the shots have been called.
The chamber of the Canon House of the Conference is full to the brim, and both sides of the House are seemingly in bipartisan agreement with the measures needed to be made, which must be done with complete immediacy.
The Speaker of the House was Alsant Riveri, who was popular for his dedication in keeping the authorized decorum in the debating chamber. He was composed during this difficult time, prim and proper, although quite very concerned and alarmed. The matter at hand is very serious to not merit an urgent matter in the Order Paper.
The Official Government of Her Majesty the Queen of Heaven and Earth has informed the Council Leadership of His Majesty the Christ in the Canonical Council (whose members are drawn from canonized Saints), of draft measures to immediately remedy the present situation, without further delay, and to strengthen the powers of the Copy Editors, as well as the elite Hard Cover Force, to prevent any more pilferage from supposed strong security mantle in place of all the libraries.
The All-Saints are heckling and debating now.
"Mr. Speaker," the Alsant Montecristo said, the Chief Minister, as he began addressing the House. "The Official Government has been in receipt of a letter from the Story Board informing us of the unfortunate incident in our sacred libraries for appropriate action, and we are inclined to respond with haste and firm authority to show force."
