Chapter Nine: His Majesty's Infirmary

Princess Snow White arrived at the Infirmary and was immediately escorted by the best healers of the Kingdom into a bed, immediately tending to her wounds, while some of them cannot understand what had just happened.

"Why is Her Royal Highness wounded?"

"Who attacked the Princess?"

"What has transpired?"

"Who is the culprit?"

All the healers are now hurrying to prepare an antidote for the poisoned arrow, while Princess Snow White remained calm in the situation. She rarely spoke, just because she didn't want to take their attention away as to who might want her dead. She was listening to their conversations; she wanted to confirm the veracity of her dreams.

As her medication has been prepared and applied to her wounds, and another concoction she had to take orally, she started to feel drowsy as the therapeutics hit her, and then fell asleep.

She started to dream.

In her dream, she saw herself lying in one of the beds. Her eyes were closed, but she was not asleep. She saw two healers near her, and they were talking about her medical condition and its political repercussions. They thought she was asleep. She started to listen to their conversation.

"Who could have poisoned that apple," the healer asked his fellow healer. "Who could have done that without witchcraft?"

"It is a major issue in the Commission on Appointments now, and the High Commissioner was extremely furious over the incident."

"We have every right to defend the Crown from all sort of attacks. We simply cannot back down from a treacherous attempt to murder anyone in the royal succession."

He nodded.

The healer checked the Princess if she was still asleep, then whispered to the healer he was conversing with.

"This is a serious matter now that even the politicians cannot handle. What we are scared about might happen any time soon."

Princess Snow White have seen and heard everything in her dreams, and she fears that it is all set to come true. Tonight's dream is no exception. She must tell her mother about it. The Queen might be able to protect her.

Honestly, she was really, really scared now.
