Chapter Seventy Two: Cinderella's Illness
It was exactly two weeks since Princess Cinderella was attacked at the Marketplace, and now she became seriously ill. All the available doctors from the Kingdom were summoned to make a diagnosis of the possible health problem of the Princess, but all of them gave a different answer. There was no clear determination of the disease, which makes the condition of Her Royal Highness ultra rare, and that is very curious indeed.
Most of these doctors found nothing was wrong with the Princess. She was completely healthy, and she is very capable to perform her duties in the Royal Household. But Princess Cinderella wasn't feeling very well, and she herself is certain that there is something wrong with her health. There must be something inside her that is not right.
One by one, she was examined by doctors from far and wide, but, still, none of them gave a certain response. She seems to be in her prime health, they assume, but one of them gave an uncomfortable, stern warning to the Royal Household. There is something very dark involved in the predicament at hand.
"This is black enchantment," one of the doctors has said.
King Celestine XX, the brave and debonair father of the Princess, became very sad upon hearing this unfortunate news. He was deep in thought, and, visibly, worry covers his face. Certainly, something inside was bothering him. It is as if his worst nightmares have been confirmed by the present circumstances.
"How dark is this enchantment?" the King finally asked.
The doctor was a Hermit by the name of Timothy Raidserk, and he was well-known for his potions and offensive medical supply, most of them potent poisons. He acknowledged what the King wanted to know. He, too, seems to be aware of the secrets of the distant past.
"Darker than what the Moderator has ever known," he said in a tone of sadness. He looked at the King with a hint of grave concern.
The King nodded to acknowledge what the Hermit has said. It has been confirmed that his worst nightmare is coming through, and nothing shall be able to halt what kind of evil was coming. Already, the Princess has become the casualty, and more bad news is expected to come.
"The Queen is here," added the Hermit convincingly. "Evil has arrived."
