The Ancestral House - Prologue: A House and A Myth

It was a long time ago that the King and the Queen have kept their secrets away from anyone who would later on expose them and alter the political order within the kingdoms far and wide, from the woods to the farthest lakes, from phoenixes to other mythical creatures.

But now, there it is. The King's Ancestral House that has been guarded by the huntsmen was reportedly attempted for a break in. This came as a surprise because its location has become very impossible to find, and its security is impossible to breach. The House that stands so proudly full of power and history is now being challenged.

The Ancestral House is a tall house, just tall enough to be hidden by the taller trees that surrounds its courtyard. It is a very old house though, and when you look at it, it will remind you of the myth that has circulated within the Kingdoms for a very long time.

It was said in the tale that the Princess Snow White has once lived in the House with the company of Seven Dwarfs to escape the Evil Queen, her supposed stepmother after her mother died. The evil schemes have since been identified in this story that the King has banned all witchcraft for life, and anyone in possession of these things constitutes high treason.

Yet, what was hidden in the Ancestral House is a portal that leads to the extension of the Kingdom, into the land that has become the secret to their economic power. In the center of it all is the Potion of Beauty, an important product that has become the oil of trade, the dominance of which has been acknowledged by the Commission on Appointments, a deliberative body that acts as the Congress of the several Kingdoms, which in turn appoints the several Secretaries responsible for safety and order.

Now, as the Ancestral House continues to stand proud as the jewel of the Kingdom, a secret plan to overthrow the King is brewing, and has reached the huntsmen's attention. Security has never been this tighter, but not as tight as when the Kingdom hosted the Commission on Appointments in their remote session, as recorded by the Secretary of History, shortly after the perpetrators of an assassination attempt has been dramatically killed.

The same thing is happening now, and the Ancestral House is in great peril.
