Chapter Ninety One: The Unfortunate Foretelling of the Stars

Darkness fell over the Commission on Appointments again. Although the moon was fully visible in the clear night sky from where she was standing, the Evil Queen embraces her power more than ever by this definite form of darkness that is very distinct tonight, while a certain illumination from the moon provides for a wan blanket of light that envelopes the ground, notwithstanding the calm of the dark.

Across the blackness of the sky are the many billion stars that decorate the night time canvass, whose twinkling resounds the foretelling of the important events in history, from which many of those who knew magic has used the constellations to predict the triumph and fall of many civilizations including their mighty empires and vast cities.

But more than a source of many prophecies and the foretelling of historical achievements, the constellations, themselves, have been used to activate the power of the darkness to manipulate all the elements unique to the absence of light, like the development of the impetus that hounds the hidden properties of all that is darkly sinister and inherently evil.

However, the darkness of the night is not a permanent foe or a form of wickedness that is purely dependent on its inner substance that has been viewed with bias and belonging to all things very dark or perilous. As much as the darkness limits the sight that can be seen by the naked eye, and so is the light to be highly dependent on the darkness, so that the light would eventually finds its own way to shine, amidst the presence of the blind voidness.

The light will never be appreciated without darkness, and this is simply an eternal and natural truth.

The fortune of man has been the major inquiry of Kings and Emperors in their perpetual search for glory. More than the daunting uncertainty, it is the odds that they are very much afraid of, not because they doubt their own source of strength, but because the potential enemies to be faced are unknown (which casts a more credible reservations strong enough as to not to be feared) and the thought that those faceless opponent may be a lot stronger than themselves perfectly defines the odds to be conquered.

And to conquer anything of value requires persistence and a lot of guts.

The Evil Queen was a descendant of the race called Dark Masters; but unlike most of them, she has pushed the boundaries of the properties of light and the impetus of the darkness even further, a bold move that has made her heart ice-cold, evil and dangerous.

She has become Evil in her own right, and that's what made her a Queen of the Darkness.

This part of the fables (especially the description of the Evil Queen) has been very ambiguous, with no solid proof and acceptable account of the series of events that led her to this stature of beauty, wit, and power beyond measure.

Killing the Executive Secretary was not as hard as she originally thought. The despicable leader is simply greedy for power, corrupt in a stealthily way, and his morals have the stench of decay, which she used to her advantage without needing to resort to the manner of murder that would require her to do with so much force.

She has mastered the skill of using Evil to her advantage. She is most certain that Lucifer will be very proud of her recent achievements.
