Chapter Eighty Nine: Alsant Edwards Philly's Privilege Speech

The Speaker of the House recognized Alsant Edwards Philly as part of the Order Paper for his notice to deliver a privilege speech, in which he is mainly sponsoring a treatise calling for a complete revision of the far-reaching mandate that was generally accorded to the Story Board and its instrumentalities, by compelling the Conference to take into account the reported vulnerabilities of the established system.

"Mr. Speaker," he began calmly. "The recent events involving the Story Board and its accompanying mandate shows without reprehension that the current state involving the imagination's mechanism showing the extreme volatile conditions upon which it upholds reality is, simply, under attack."

The distinguished gentleman paused for a moment. The chamber is silent so far.

"Mr. Speaker, this side of the aisle is asking for a complete inquiry into the affairs of the Story Board, mainly to identify the weaknesses surrounding its role, as well as the possibility of redefining the part of the imagination where it relates to the transpiring of reality. It is through this speech that I call for a bipartisan support for this more important measure, and to convene a Joint Committee with the Canonical House, to exhaustively investigate the intricacies surrounding the elements of this case study."

There was a weak murmur of support coming from both sides.

"Based on preliminary information gathered by the Conference Episcopal Committee, Mr. Speaker, it was being alleged in this report filed with the Permanent Secretariat that the way imagination was being perceived and utilized in direct link with reality, is simply lopsided and open to manipulative tendencies."

There is a slight heckling of support now.

"This was noted in a comprehensive review made by the Monsignor of the Episcopacy regarding the full implementation of the Omnibus Organic Act for the Story Board, which was, based on the period covered by the study, primarily links the vulnerable portions of the law to the role of the speed of light in direct assault to the logical propensity of the imagination."

The chamber is audibly heckling in unison.

"Order!" the Speaker shouted.

The speech continued without further incident. The chamber became quiet.

"It is important, Mr. Speaker, to ask the Chief Minister of the Official Government from this side of the House, to comment on the present situation especially relating to the independent inquiry of the Conference Episcopal Committee, and to respectfully ask the government side to propose for a more valid option other than with what we are proposing from the Most Loyal Opposition."

The right honorable gentleman, again, paused for dramatic effect.

"In whatever mode necessary, the mandate of the Story Board will need to be revised, and the Official Government must address these reported shortcomings in the soonest possible time. This is important, Mr. Speaker."
