Chapter 124: His Royal Highness The Prince Marcellus
He was a royalty from a far away land, a Kingdom not so well-known, and never had been discovered by all the mighty others; it is for this reason that this land has been called as the Secret Realm, because its natural innate beauty is hidden from the world, away from the greedy eyes of power, and securely and contentedly behind the curtain of the several chains of majestic mountainous terrain.
But these mountains can easily lure anybody with its natural charm and abundant beauty, leading all the unfortunate souls into a terrible and painful trap, which makes it very dangerous to even attempt to defy this strong protection, especially to those who will accidently discover the virgin forests and the unadulterated potential of the land of milk and honey.
To those courageous enough to become entirely foolish, it will mean an instantaneous yet excruciating death. The pain was so severe that it will feel the burning of an eternal fire to those who will be willing to assume that ill-fated destiny. A terrible end to a devastating challenge to authority.
An utterly foolish act. Indeed.
But behind those monstrous obstacles is a valley where the Kingdom described above would be found comfortably sitting, probably content with its own desirable traits and unique capabilities. It is within this period (in candid consideration of the element of time) that the realm have been regarded as the "golden age of the sight," because anything that is alluring in its beauty would yield a certain force that is widely seen as a form of a strong power in itself.
It must not be confused with the desire to exercise power and its moral implications, because many souls in this time segment have learned to override the deep attribution for the far reaches of power, where most of the disorder would soon entirely commence, as history might later on tell the curiosity of posterity in the expository endeavors related to the power of its own storytelling.
Because stories are powerful, too. It gives us warning about the treachery of life, and all of its apparent perils.
Without any reasons to challenge the status quo, the leader of this Kingdom, nonetheless, His Royal Highness The Prince Marcellus, will soon discover how the greed of others would eventually corrupt their serene living, and why these mountains existed to defend them until the appointed time has finally come to confront the unlikely enemy.
For the noble Prince, it is this appointed time that is silently waiting.
